Refund & Donation Policy

 


1. Purpose of Donations

All donations made to Shri Avahan Akhara Trust are used for charitable, spiritual, and religious purposes, including:

  • Conducting Kumbh Melas, Shahi Snans, and dharmic yatras

  • Supporting Naga Sadhus, Mahants, saints, and their daily needs

  • Maintenance of temples, ashrams, dharamshalas, and gaushalas

  • Funding spiritual education, Sanskrit research, and scriptural preservation

  • Organizing Annadaan, medical camps, and social outreach programs

Each contribution is considered sacred and is accounted for with transparency and spiritual responsibility.


2. Nature of Donations

  • Donations are voluntary, non-refundable, and made with devotional intent

  • Accepted via online portals, bank transfers, or authorized agents

  • Contributions can be one-time or recurring

  • Indian and foreign citizens may donate (subject to relevant law and FCRA)


3. Refund Policy

As per our policy, all donations are final. However, refunds may be considered in the following exceptional cases:

  • Duplicate donation due to technical error

  • Incorrect donation amount selected

  • Fraudulent or unauthorized transaction

Refund Process:

To initiate a refund request, please contact us within 7 days of the transaction with the following details:

  • Full name of donor

  • Transaction ID and date

  • Donation amount

  • Mode of payment

  • Reason for refund request

All valid refund requests will be reviewed by the Trust and processed within 7–14 working days. Refunds, if approved, will be returned via the original mode of payment.

❗ The Trust reserves the right to deny any refund at its sole discretion, especially if the funds have already been allocated to a religious or charitable cause.


4. Foreign Contributions (FCRA)

Shri Avahan Akhara Trust is compliant with the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA). Foreign donors must ensure:

  • Accurate identity and country details are submitted

  • Donations are sent via authorized channels

  • They do not make contributions that violate Indian law

All FCRA-compliant donations are used exclusively for non-political, religious, and charitable purposes.


5. Donation Receipts and Tax Benefits

  • Every successful donation will receive an acknowledgment receipt via email

  • Indian donors may be eligible for 80G exemption under the Income Tax Act

  • To receive an 80G certificate, donors must submit their PAN card and full contact details

The Trust ensures timely issuance of receipts and documentation for compliance and spiritual transparency.


6. Security of Transactions

All donation transactions are processed through secure, encrypted gateways. The Trust:

  • Does not store your debit/credit card or UPI data

  • Uses trusted Indian payment aggregators

  • Complies with all applicable RBI, Income Tax, and cybersecurity regulations
