As of 2025, Swami Arun Giri Maharaj holds the esteemed position of Acharya Mahamandaleshwar of Shri Panchdashnam Avahan Akhara, one of the most respected and ancient Akharas in India. As the spiritual head (Peethadheeshwar), he leads the Akhara in upholding the values of Sanatana Dharma, guiding sannyasis and devotees with wisdom, discipline, and dedication. Widely known as “Pariyavaran Baba” for his unwavering commitment to environmental protection.
Background:
In religious and public life, Swami Arun Giri Maharaj is also famously recognized as “Golden Baba”, often seen adorned with gold and silver ornaments, symbolizing a unique blend of renunciation and grandeur.
