1. Avahan Akhara Leads Grand Entry into Mahakumbh 2025

On December 22, 2024, Shri Panch Dashnam Avahan Akhara made a majestic entry into the Mahakumbh cantonment in Prayagraj. Led by Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Swami Arun Giri, the procession featured over a dozen Maha Mandaleshwars, 51 Shri Mahants, and numerous Naga Sanyasis. The Akhara, recognized as the oldest among the 13 Akharas of Sanatan Dharma, has participated in 122 Mahakumbhs and 123 Kumbhs in Prayagraj

2. Avahan Akhara Distributes 51,000 Saplings as Prasad

Swami Arun Giri has advocated for the establishment of a ‘Sanatan Board’ to safeguard and promote Sanatan Dharma. He proposes that this board comprise saints and religious leaders to address challenges facing traditional Hindu practices.
